You are welcome in the temporary Business reLounge located on the 1st floor of the passenger terminal just before the baggage area.
In the Business Class Lounge of Tallinn Airport, renovation and expansion works will take place in the period October 28 – March 2024. During this period, we are waiting for all lounge visitors in the temporary Business reLounge located on the 1st floor of the passenger terminal just before the baggage area.
Given the short lifespan of the Business reLounge, we took a sustainable approach to its construction. For instance, we opted to use fabric walls made from recycled wool in place of plaster or glass dividing walls, while the entryway and the mesh fabric surrounding it were made from storm-proof flag fabric production leftovers with a new pattern printed on them. After being used in the Business reLounge, this material will be repurposed to make bags and the curtain fabric used on the other walls will be resewn as woollen blankets. Elsewhere, the furniture being used in the reLounge has been rented or was sourced from the Business Lounge.
We kindly notify that business lounge visiting time is up to 3 hours.
Who has access?
Business class passengers of the airlines above are welcome in the Business reLounge for no extra charge.
Who can have discount?
The cardholders or voucher owners of the partners above are served at discounted rates.
The concept of the temporary Business reLounge
KIU textile walls
Fabric waste as valuable material
The entrance to the temporary reLounge and the mesh wall surrounding it are made from storm-proof flag fabric production leftovers with a new pattern printed on it. After being used (G: being use ) in the reLounge, the material will be reused to make bags will be made from this material. Wool blankets will be sewn from the fabric of the of the beige curtains.
A global concern in the textile industry is the production of large quantities. Consequences are dealt with when fabric is left over. KIU Kangatrüki Studio uses practically zero-waste technology – cuts are made from fabric as optimally as possible to minimize waste at the very beginning of the production process.
Smaller batches, less waste
This approach helps designers and artists produce smaller batches in exactly the quantity required, without accumulating excess stock. The goal of KIU Kangatrüki Studio is to give a new life to fabrics left over from mass production, avoiding new waste in the process.

PULO hanging outlets
From a special solution to an actual product
The small company PULO stood out in our search for Busieness reLounge’s lighting and outlets for their eye-catching design and a transparent manufacturing process. To provide convenient charging stations for travellers, hanging outlets made from wood scraps were manufactured especially for this space. After being used in the Business reLounge, the PULO lights and outlets will be returned and will find a place in someone’s home or in new projects.
Burning scrap wood in a different way
PULO was born from two wishes: to keep woodworking skills alive from generation to generation; and to give material, which is too valuable to burn, a new purpose. The first lighting fixture made from waste material from the flooring industry saw the light of day eight years ago, in the garage of a private home in Tallinn, where a father passed on his wood-turning skills to his daughter. PULO also cares about small scrap wood. When making wooden lighting, trees are “lit” in a completely different way!

Phére fern installations
Sustaining the beauty of plants
The beautiful, dried plant installations in our reLounge were handcrafted in the Phére studio, partly using ferns from the local Pääsküla bog. All the floristic beauty in our reLounge will be reused as a backdrop in the Phére photo studio, in smaller bouquets or inside aroma diffusers.
Nature and sustainable design
At the heart of Phére is recycling and valuing materials. The studio’s creator was inspired watching her mother planting rich flower beds in the South south of Estonia – it was suddenly obvious to her that the beauty of flowers should be extended by drying them. The Phére studio operating in the Põhjala factory combines nature with design and glass art. Sustainable and recyclable products and long-lasting floral installations are made in cooperation with local artisans.

BORG sound-absorbing furniture
Renting instead of buying
The house-shaped furniture in our reLounge, allowing for a little bit of privacy, was rented from Borg. The furniture has great sound sound-absorbing qualities, yet it does not entirely isolate people from their surroundings.
Sustainable furniture
For Borg, it is important that what they create, lasts for as long as possible. Machine-washable fabrics have become the standard. In this way, both the frequency of buying new furniture and the level of unnecessary consumption can be decreased. Borg uses FSC-certified plywood obtained from responsible sources. 92% of their packaging waste is recycled. The Any textile and upholstery waste is forwarded passed on to various design and crafts’ schools.

BORGi helisummutav mööbel
Rentimine ostmise asemel
Materjalina kasutab Borg vastutustundlikest allikatest pärit FSC sertifikaatidega vineeri. Pakenditest läheb taaskasutusse juba 92%. Tootmisprotsessist üle jäävad tekstiili- ja vatiinijäätmed suunatakse taaskasutusse erinevatesse tööõpetusklassidesse.
